COMMUNITY KITCHEN

About Us

We run a street food and pop-up restaurant business serving up lovely grub at markets, festivals an unusual corners of London and beyond. We only sell food that we love eating ourselves; all our dishes are made with natural, fresh ingredients.

We have a great team of people working with us, some of whom are using the opportunity to learn what they need to set up their own micro-enterprise food initiatives.  We actively support this. It's part of who we are and the values we uphold.

Philosophy

A commercial business with a social purpose, the idea of Community Kitchen is based on the old idea of having a central kitchen space where everyone from the village comes to cook, chat and share recipes and resources. We see food as a real way of bringing people together.  We invest in training and supporting other budding foodies to develop their own micro-food businesses through working with us.  We have a particular focus on food-market based businesses that work to build community and support local economies.
